time flies when you're having fun...

i had this awesome dream on sat!!i dreamt that i was going to sydney for the labour day holiday!!

i set off at around 930ish am on sat,

took the ferry to bretts wharf,

and cycled to DFO(during which i got a little lost-_-) where i took the shuttle bus(dang..i forgot to take pics of DFO and the shuttle bus..i was freaking out cuz i thought i might miss my plane!!) to the international airport, from which i took a train to the domestic airport

..all that and i managed to get to the airport just on time!(i reached the airport at around 1245 when i was supposed to be there by 1230...thank god the plane hasnt left!!-_-

i arrived at sydney that afternoon and checked into the hotel.

After that, the fun began! i caught the train(which are like double decks..damn cool..so evertime you take the train, you have the choice to go upstairs, downstairs or stay at ground level...umm tough choice eh)

and went over to the circular quay

where the sydney opera house

and harbour bridge (obviously i didnt scale the bridge, cuz i didnt want to spend $$ just to climb the bridge-_-..plus, i have this tiny fear of heights....)

were located...and took stack loads of pictures, of the same icons-_-...cant believe i took like 40+ pics of the same thing?!..but you cant blame me...ppl make loads of cash selling pics similar to those that i've taken!

anyway, thank God for the panaromic function!!:D

from there, i wandered around and discovered 'the rocks market'!..but it was closing-_-...d'oh, i spent too much time taking pics of the sydney icons...

(cool horse carridge eh?...that guy there is charging like $40 per ride!!)

from there on, i went to the city..but there was nothing much...cuz most of the shops were closed/closing(at 6pm?!,,damn i should have known better)...but i managed to find: KINOKUNIYA!!...my favourite bookstore is in sydney!!

OMG...and i also realised that they had some comic give-away event...but it had already ended to my dismay...so after reading some manga there, i left to find some food...

but obviously all the stores are closed...so i had to settle for fast food-_-after dinner, i headed back to the hotel...but i got lost(?!)and at the same time,it began to rain...it was pathetic-_-

somehow, i managed to get back to the hotel and blah blah blah...

so the next morning...i went over to bondi beach...

and it was still raining(great..just great) so the beach was wet and the air was chilly and i was there staring at the beach with a handful of surfers and loads of joggers...no, i didnt see any of the cool lifeguards...and no there werent any hot guys...i was too pissed with the weather to notice anyways...

i gave up and made my way to the bondi junction...hanged around at westfield(?) mall before heading back to bondi when the sun finally came out..

the waves were great and so was the view...

unfortunately, i wasnt dressed or prepared to hit the waves...so i left for the entertainment quarter...

with the hope to get a view of the famous fox studio...

but when i got there...it was full of ppl...going to the stadium to catch some rugby match the sydney swans were playing...and i couldnt get closer to the fox studio...since it was a sunday(duh) and i couldnt find the actual entrance-_-

so after hanging around at EQ, i headed over to circular quay where i caught the ferry to Darling Harbour...

which was crowded..cuz they were celebrating some anniversary of Darling harbour...it was an interesting place...but i got bored soon...

and so i left and went back to the city...for dinner....

and then headed back to the hotel(without trouble this time...)

and the next day, i caught a plane back to brisbane....

cycled back to brett's wharf(yes i left my bike at DFO for 2 nights..and THANK GOD it was still there when i returned!!..i wasnt really expecting to see the whole bike still intact when i went back for it...HAHA...now i know how pet owners feel when they go for holidays...so damn worried for my bike for the past 2 nights lor!)

took the ferry back to st lucia...

where it all begun...

and the next day(today)..i woke up...and headed to work....wondering if its all been a dream...

(note:i wanted to add more pics...but damn blogger sucks!!!..i hate uploading pics here...damn..i'll just stop here...its becoming a pain in the ass)DAMN THIS SHIT DISORIENTATION..i tried my best to arrange this post..i swear!
